If you wish to visit Spain for a short period of time (less than 90 days), you must obtain a Short Term visa.

The above mentioned Visa Fees is to be paid only by cash.

Note: Exemption of Visa Fee for a child is applicable only in the case of Short Term category, if the child's age is less than 6 years at the date of submission.

BLS International Service charge

Applicants applying at the Spanish visa application Centre shall be levied a service charge of 871.00 DOP/- payable in cash. Children under 6 are exempted from service charge.

  • The applicable Visa Fee in Indian Rupees is as per the current exchange rate. It is subject to change without notice
  • The fee is non-refundable

Original and copy of the visa application form "Schengen", duly completed.

Passport valid for 6 months at the time of application, with at least two blank pages and a copy of the complete passport.

2 photos 2 x 2 in white background, which will be taken at the center of visa applications along with your fingerprints.

Reservation of round trip flight.

Accreditation of accommodation in Spain (hotel reservation or letter of invitation from the Spanish Police or invitation before a Notary, in case you are staying with friends or relatives).
Accreditation of the economic means {Order PRE / 1282/2007. BOE 05/11/2007}.
For your support in Spain, credit the daily amount of 73.59 euros, multiplied by the number of days you intend to stay and the number of people traveling to your position. This amount will amount in any case to 661.5 euros per person (90% of the gross SMI), regardless of the number of days you travel.

Medical insurance for individual or collective travel with Schengen conditions. It must cover all the time of stay, and cover the possible expenses of repatriation, emergency medical and hospital care, and the transfer of the mortal remains in case of death, with a minimum coverage of 30,000 euros.

Copy of the identity card.

Work certificate and employment contract, or documentation that proves that you are studying and that you are dependent on your parents (if you are a student).

Additional documents according to your case (titles of property, power of attorney of authorization to travel for minors, bank accounts, marriage certificate if the spouse is covering the expenses of the trip, etc.)

The Consulate may request from the applicant any additional documentation deemed necessary for the decision on the granting of the visa.

* The documents must be presented in original and copy, when the original document is not provided, a certified copy must be provided. All documents are valid for three (3) months (unless the same document indicates a shorter term).

* The granting of the visa is not a right of the applicant, any disbursement made related to the requirements for obtaining documents and certificates does not condition the Consulate its issuance.

* The Consulate will carry out the evaluation of the visa with the documentation presented, it will be in the interest of the applicant to contribute all that he / she considers necessary for its concession.

Warning: We are sorry to be unable to accept any photographs that do not meet the following requirements

Provide a recent photo of yourself (no more than 3 months old) that has not been previously used in the passport. The photograph must be in color and:

  • It must be taken so that the facial features and face contrast with the background are distinguished.
  • It should be clear and show the face focused.
  • Must be printed on normal photo quality paper.
  • The face should be completely unmasked (without sunglasses, hats / caps or any other attachment that covers it unless the applicant carries these for religious or ethnic reasons)
  • Must adhere to the application.

Warning: Please follow these instructions carefully. The photographs presented must coincide with the biometric photograph, if not similar, its application will be considered incomplete. The application center has a photographic booth that meets these requirements and guarantees accuracy in the process.

Applications accepted at the Spain Visa Application Centre will be submitted on the next working day at the Embassy of Spain/Consulate General of Spain. Once the application has been submitted, the applicant can be further requested additional documentation in support of the same. Please note as per the instructions received from Embassy of Spain minimum processing time is 15 Calendar days (It may delay depending on case to case).

All applications must be submitted at least 15 days prior to the proposed date of travel to accommodate any unforeseen processing delays.

Kindly note if application submitted in Satellite centre, it may take up to 48-72 hours in transit to SantoDomingo. All the applications received from Satellite centers will be sent to Embassy/Consulate on next working day

Processing time will start excluding the date of submission of application at BLS International Services.

Applicants submitting the applications towards the Embassy of Spain, SantoDomingo with short processing time will be required to fill up the Declaration form.

Please note W.E.F 01 April 13 , Embassy of Spain has instructed that Sworn Declaration is mandatory to be provided along Visa Application form at the time of submission.
